Bottomless baggage check

In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy. I Tim. 2:8

Church is a place where we check our baggage at the door and hopefully never come back to pick it up. Instead we choose to stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow worshippers and agree to make God the center of everyone’s attention. His response to our worship is to draw us into experiences of unity, love, and power that change and equip us and that may be closest we will ever come in this world to understanding what it means to be the Bride of Christ.

Lord, I lift my hands, please make them holy and make us one.
