Enough is enough

“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Matt. 6:31-32

In this consumer culture it’s very easy to  fall into an endless state of perceived poverty, always wanting something and never thinking we have “enough.” We always need more and better things than the ones we currently have.  Then we need bigger and nicer places to keep all the things we have and all the things we are going to “need.”

Lord, redefine “need,” “want,” and “enough” in my life.
