Failure is a verb not a noun

For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough, so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. So I beg you to reaffirm your love for him. 2 Cor. 2:6-8

People, Christ followers included, sometimes make mistakes, fail, disappoint, and make foolish or selfish choices. Society writes off failures. Sometimes so does the church. The cross call each of us, as recipients of His grace, to extend grace and restoration to those who fail. Failure is something we do not something we are.

Lord, when people disappoint me, fill me with Your grace.
