Think, pray, vote

But wise and knowledgeable leaders bring stability. Prov. 28:2b

Because we have the privilege and responsibility of choosing our leaders, it is up to each of us to invest the time and effort to think and pray before we vote. We also have a responsibility to one another to recognize that reasonable minds, sincere hearts, and committed, morally-sensitive believers may disagree about what we prioritize in choosing our leaders. We have an opportunity to reveal Christ’s nature by performing our civic duties in a manner that is gracious, civil, and just.

Lord, gift the candidates and electorate with wisdom and knowledge.
