Like it or not, accept the Savior, you get the family

Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples. Jn. 13:35

Christians spend a lot of energy distinguishing ourselves from one another based on doctrine and dogma. We often focus on adherence to a set of behavioral standards to be “our witness.” Most of the stuff Christians argue about among ourselves are irrelevant to “the world.” In essence, we are inviting seekers to join a slightly weird, opinionated, dysfunctional family. Without seeing the love of Christ nobody in their right mind would want to belong to it.

Lord, help me to focus on loving my fellow believers more.
